Described as the embodiment of Brooklyn, the cluttered and coloured works of Bäst draw on early punk posters, classic cartoon characters, fast food branding, and sex advertisements, offering a satirical interpretation of consumer culture. His works have been exhibited in galleries across the world, including London, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Berlin, Paris, Edinburgh, and San Francisco, while his collaborative assignments have seen him working with FAILE and Marc Jacobs.
