ALEPH GEDDIS ‘torii’ OPENING EXHIBITION

Aleph Geddis’s solo exhibition at The Slow launched on the 13th of January to much applause. The exhibition was entitled Torii 鳥居 bird abode, referencing a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto Shrine, where it symbolically marks the transition from the profane to sacred. Aleph Geddis is the man behind The Slow’s heavily photographed monkey pod sculptures. Torii was his first solo exhibition on the island of Bali, remaining open to public until the 13th of January 2018.
